As our lowest performing items for both practices were the same, these are the improvements we plan to make at both Marden and Newton:
We have reminded our team that if a doctor is running significantly behind, staff will do their best to be proactive and attempt to contact you and advise the doctor is running behind. This includes advising you on arrival to your appointment.
We have also asked our doctors to notify us when they are running behind so that we can let you know.
When we are fully booked, we will continue to manage patients based on the urgency of the care they need.
We will continue to encourage you to book your appointments online through our online bookings provider, Hotdoc. We have placed signs and QR codes in our practices that take you to our online bookings system, so you can book your appointments with the provider of your choice at a day and time that suits you.
