With Dr. Olivia Chen’s special interest in women’s health, the dedicated clinic setting ensures a calm and supportive environment, making the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible.
You are eligible for a subsidised* Cervical Screening Test if you are:
Aged between 25 and 74
Sexually active or ever have been
A woman or person with a cervix.
*The test is subsidised by the Government, but normal consultation fees apply.
The Cervical Screening Test is a simple process that looks for signs of the human papillomavirus (HPV) – a common infection that causes most cervical cancers. Most cases of HPV clear up on their own, however, sometimes it can develop into cancer. Performing the Cervical Screening Test every 5 years means your doctor can monitor or investigate HPV further if required.

Prefer to see your usual doctor? That’s no problem – you’re welcome to book your cervical screening as part of their regular appointments.
Please note: It is preferable not to have your period when your cervical screening test is done, as heavy flow may affect the sample and require a repeat test. Light flow is usually fine. If you’re unsure, please call us on 8360 9777 for guidance.
