2025 Update at EAHC Newton

To all of our valued patients,

As promised at the end of 2024, we’re excited to share more information about some important changes happening at our Newton practice in 2025. Our hope is that these changes will improve your experience with us, and we’d like to take a moment to share the story behind them.

In healthcare, every action, conversation, and decision conveys a message - a signal about who we are, what we value, and how we care. That’s why, in the coming months, our EAHC Newton brand will transition to Signal Health Newton. This change isn’t just about a new name; it’s a reflection of our commitment to listening and responding to what truly matters - your health, your concerns, and your journey with us.

For years, the EAHC name has been part of our identity, symbolising the care and trust we’ve built together. As we become Signal Health, our new name will embody the same values we’ve always held: that healthcare is more than treating symptoms, it’s about understanding and responding to the signals that guide us toward better outcomes. Whether we’re listening to your concerns, offering support, or creating a caring environment, every interaction shapes our connection with you.

This rebranding marks an exciting new chapter, but it doesn’t change who we are at heart. We remain the same dedicated team of practitioners, nurses, and administrative staff you’ve come to know and trust, fully committed to the exceptional care you deserve. You will notice a few changes, such as new uniforms and new signs, but rest assured, the quality of care will continue to evolve to better meet your needs.

Being part of EAHC has taught us what truly matters in healthcare - integrity, collaboration, and putting our patients first. Those lessons have shaped the practice we are today and will continue to guide us as we grow into Signal Health. This new name reflects our promise to keep improving, whether that is embracing innovative technology, expanding our services, or fostering a compassionate, forward-thinking culture. From extended clinic hours to improved telehealth options, every step we take is dedicated to meeting your needs.

Looking ahead, we’re not just responding to the signals of the present, we’re preparing for the future. Our promise to you is that we will stay proactive, adapt to advances in healthcare, and always strive to make a meaningful difference in our community.

Thank you for being part of our story. As we embark on this new chapter as Signal Health, we will build on the foundation of trust and care you’ve come to expect, while continuing to adapt and grow to serve you better - one signal at a time.

New Improvements:

As part of this change, we have already introduced:

  • Extended Saturday clinic hours: We know life gets busy, so we’ve made it easier to book appointments on the weekend.

  • A brand-new website and social media channels: These changes help us keep you informed, connected, and engaged with what’s happening at our practice.

Looking ahead, we’re continuing to improve and innovate. Here is what’s on the horizon:

  • Improved Telehealth Services: We’re investing in better technology to provide high-quality video consultations for our patients.

  • Better Communication: In 2025, we are planning to transition to new medical software that will improve how we communicate with you—whether it’s accessing test results, clinical documents, or appointment updates. We will also be providing more opportunities for you to share your feedback which will help us to continuously improve your experience.

  • Reducing Waiting Times: We understand the importance of timely care and how hard it can be to get an appointment. To help reduce waiting times, we are actively looking to expand our medical team to make it easier for you to get an appointment.

For Patients Who Also Visit the Marden Practice:

Since October 1st, we have not been able to make bookings on your behalf at the Marden practice. If you see a practitioner at Marden, you can either book online, contact them directly, or we’ll happily transfer your call. We apologise for any inconvenience, and our Newton team will be here to help you.

What You Need to Do:

There’s nothing you need to do right now. Your medical records are secure, and all your appointments will continue as usual. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is here to help.

If any of your contact details have changed, including your Address, Phone number, Email, Emergency Contact or Next of Kin, please let us know so we can keep our records up to date. You can update your details with our admin team at your next appointment or give us a call.
